Cake smashes are a rite of passage for babies who are celebrating their first or second birthday, and capturing those moments on film means you can look back on these moments and laugh in years to come. That's why parents choose Robin Hill Photography for the most fun cake smash sessions!
WHY DO A CAKE SMASH?
The cake smash tradition has boomed in popularity in the past few years - and really, who needs an excuse to see their beautiful babies covered in cake and loving every minute? These sessions are always a lot of fun - and they're one of our favourite to photograph!

WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR A CAKE SMASH?
Cake smash session are a favourite for first or second birthday celebrations! Most people like to do sessions as close to the birthdate as possible however, we are happy to photograph from 10-14 or 22-26 months of age.

CAN WE HAVE OUR SESSION ON THE WEEKEND?
Sessions are held Monday-Friday. If necessary we can open the studio on a Saturday but please let us know well ahead of time to check availability.
DO YOU INCLUDE THE CAKE AND DECORATIONS?
Yes! For this reason please tell us if your child has ANY alleries so we can discuss options.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Your cake smash session will be relaxed but fun! The session is 219 euro and everything we need to create the party – the cake, party decor and bath will
all ready for you – it also includes props and 9 fully edited images. Extra images will be available for purchase separately to gallery images.

CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY PHOTO DURING THE SESSION?
Babies of this age or so much fun, however as a parent we know how quickly fun can turn into boredom or tears. This session is designed to take approximately 40 minutes in order to keep your baby engaged. Family or sibling photos can be scheduled for another day.

CAN WE PURCHASE DIGITAL COPIES?
All our Collections include your purchased images as high-resolution digital files.

WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE THE PHOTOS?
Producing your beautiful photo gallery will take many hours of work to get them ready for viewing. Please allow approximately four weeks to view them.

WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO?
Our studio is located in Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland.
